1. What Sorei Is (and Isn't)

Sorei is a guided introspective experience designed to help you reflect, reconnect, and explore your own thoughts and patterns. It may feel personal, thoughtful, or emotionally aware—but:

• Sorei is not a therapist, doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, or crisis service.
• Nothing in Sorei's responses should be treated as medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
• You are fully responsible for how you choose to act on any reflections, prompts, or suggestions.

Use Sorei like a journal with a voice, not a prescription pad or emergency line.

2. Safety & Crisis Situations

Sorei OS cannot contact emergency services for you, verify your identity, or guarantee that any message will be read or acted on in time.

We may use automated systems and/or manual review to classify and respond to content that appears to involve self-harm, violence, or other high-risk situations. In those cases:

• The system may provide a safety-focused response with crisis resources.
• The system may limit, pause, or terminate your access to certain features if content appears to violate these Terms or create serious risk.
• We may log those interactions for safety, integrity, and audit purposes.

However, we do not and cannot guarantee intervention, monitoring, or reporting. By using Sorei, you acknowledge and agree that you remain responsible for seeking real-world help when needed.

3. Acceptable Use

By interacting with Sorei OS, you agree to:

• Use the system in good faith for personal insight, learning, or reflection.
• Refrain from abusive, harassing, hateful, or exploitative behavior.
• Not use Sorei to plan, promote, or coordinate illegal activity.
• Avoid submitting highly sensitive personal data (such as full legal identity documents, financial account numbers, or protected health information).

You also agree not to:

• Attempt to access or modify data that does not belong to you.
• Interfere with the security, performance, or integrity of the system.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape Sorei OS beyond what is permitted by law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if behavior violates these Terms, applicable law, or the spirit and integrity of the system.

4. Accounts, Access Levels & Tiers

Some parts of Sorei OS may be available without an account (e.g., public pages, basic demos). Other features—such as saved memories, personal logs, or advanced modules—may require registration.

When you create an account:

• You agree to provide accurate, reasonably current information (e.g., a valid email).
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We may offer different tiers or levels of access (for example: guest, free, early access, or paid tiers). Features, limits, and data visibility may differ between tiers. We reserve the right to:

• change available features,
• modify or discontinue tiers,
• or adjust pricing/limits in the future.

Any significant changes affecting paid or long-term access will be communicated in a reasonable way (for example, via email or on-site notices).

5. Privacy, Logging & Data Use

We respect your privacy and handle your data according to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

In summary:

• Interaction logs (including text you submit and system responses) may be stored to operate and improve the system, personalize your experience, and maintain safety and prevent abuse.
• Certain limited account information (such as email and hashed password) may be required to authenticate you, link your conversations to your profile, and manage your preferences and access tier.
• Some processing (including AI-generated responses) may be handled by trusted third-party service providers, such as AI model providers (including, currently, OpenAI's ChatGPT), hosting providers, or analytics tools. These providers process data on our behalf in line with their own terms and applicable law.

6. Alpha Disclaimer

Sorei OS is currently in alpha. That means:

• Features may change, break, or disappear without notice.
• Responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not aligned with your expectations.
• Availability, uptime, and performance are not guaranteed.

You use Sorei OS at your own discretion and risk. We provide no guarantees regarding outcomes, results, or suitability for any particular purpose.

7. Termination & Suspension

We may limit, suspend, or revoke access to Sorei OS, with or without notice, if:

• You violate these Terms or applicable law.
• Your usage appears abusive, harmful, or unsafe (to you, others, or the system).
• Technical, security, legal, or business reasons require it.

You are free to stop using Sorei OS at any time. If you wish to request deletion of your account or associated data, you can contact us as described below; we will handle such requests consistent with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

8. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms as Sorei OS evolves. Changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Sorei OS after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the system.
